I provide in-home private tutoring for elementary school-aged children. In consultation with parents, I tailor my approach to best meet children’s learning needs; each student receives a lesson that has been created especially for him or her. While homework help is part of what I can provide, I like to dig deeper into what students need to become more independent and successful in the long term. I work with children on a broad spectrum of issues ranging from math facts, to writing fluency, to penmanship, and study study skills. In most cases I meet with each student for a one-hour session once per week. I am, however, available to meet more frequently or for longer sessions for families who desire a greater level of support.

I am also available for daytime tutoring. Some area independent schools allow children with documented learning differences to schedule tutoring meetings during specials or study halls. Please check with your school’s administration to find out if such scheduling is permitted.
